KNG Health has an opening for a Research Assistant. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree who have strong quantitative skills and experience with programming in Stata (experience in SAS, R, Python, and VBA also welcome). Candidates should also have strong communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of Medicare payment systems and experience working with Medicare claims data.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of healthcare reform and payment innovation policies, including modeling innovative state and federal proposals that impact health insurance coverage and estimating the impact of regulatory and legislative proposals on hospitals and other healthcare providers. Researchers have opportunities to publish their work and present at national health policy conferences. In the last 3 years, KNG Health researchers have published papers in American Journal of Medical Quality, Health Affairs, Journal of Medical Economics, ClinicoEconomics and Outcomes Research, Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal for Healthcare Quality, Health Services Research, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Foot & Ankle International.
