Position Summary
KNG Health is seeking a programmer/data analyst with experience in working with large healthcare datasets using SAS or Stata. The programmer/data analyst will work closely with other researchers at KNG Health to develop analysis plans, manipulate multiple complex datasets, build databases, and code programs to generate results that are useful to clients. The programmer/data analyst will also be responsible for reviewing and documenting code, improving processes and efficiency, and working collaboratively with team members to continually refine code and coding practices.
The programmer/data analyst will develop and conduct studies on Medicare payment policies, alternative payment models, value-based payment systems, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and health insurance coverage. These studies will be performed for federal and state governments, national provider associations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and foundations.
The position is for full-time work at KNG Health offices in North Bethesda, Maryland (a suburb of Washington D.C.). KNG Health is following a hybrid schedule with staff working in the office at least some days during the week.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation includes a benefits package (including health, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability) with 85% employer-paid health coverage for employees. Other benefits include an immediately vested defined contribution plan and a 3% employer match after one year of service and paid parental leave.
