KNG Health is Hiring

January 30, 2022

KNG Health has openings for researchers at different experience levels. Our primary focus will be on candidates with strong quantitative skills and experience with programming in Stata or similar language (e.g., SAS or R; experience in Python and VBA also welcomed). Health policy background is a plus and may substitute for quantitative skills. Candidates should also have strong communication skills. A minimum requirement for any position is a BA/BS in economics, public policy, computer science, or related field. For positions at the Research Associate level and above, preferred candidates will have an advanced degree, although candidates with a BA/BS plus work experience conducting data or policy analyses will also be considered. The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of Medicare payment systems and experience working with Medicare claims data.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of healthcare reform and payment innovation policies, including modeling innovative state and federal proposals that impact health insurance coverage and estimating the impact of regulatory and legislative proposals on hospitals and other healthcare providers. Researchers have opportunities to publish their work and present at national health policy conferences. In the last 3 years, KNG Health researchers have published papers in American Journal of Medical Quality, Health Affairs, Journal of Medical Economics, ClinicoEconomics and Outcomes Research, Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal for Healthcare Quality, Health Services Research, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Foot & Ankle International.

This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor in a small, dynamic company. The work environment is collegial and productive. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and have a passion for doing high-quality work.
